28 year old midfielder first joined the club in 1995 and has played since then except for 3 seasons break when played for Abingdon United and Warborough.

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Works harder than most at his game especially in training. An asset to the whole club.

Joffy Boreham (Joffchenko)

22 year old striker in his second season with the club. Previous clubs were Middleton Cheney, Sutton Courtney and Middle Barton.

Was part of the team which won Division 2 and the War Memorial Cup last season.

In his first season with the club made a big impact and scored on a regular basis. Has jelled well the players (especially in Park End!)

Adam Brooks (Brooksy)

20 year old centre back who joined the club in 2005.

Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season.

Third season with the club.Versatile young player who can play in several different positions and is improving all the time.

George Casserly

19 year old centre midfielder who joined the club in the 04/05 season. Previous clubs were Florence Park, Rose Hill and Cumnor.

Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season. As a junior was was winner in the Witney & District Under 11 League and winner of the Under 12 Supplementary Cup.

Excellent tough tackling, skilful midfield player. 4th season with the club and improving all the time.

Thomas Cook (Cookie)

18 year old left/right midfielder who joined the club in the 04/05 season.

Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season. Has been a Vale School winner three times.

The little maestro, ask anyone in the club how highly I rate him, came to us at 15 and is getting better and better, He is also Mr. Fitness.

Gary Dennie (Gazza/Barn Door Dennie)

43 year old Chairman/Joint Reserve Team Manager. Joined the club in 1985.

Previously played for Spartan Rangers and Berinsfeild. Too many previous honours to mention.

Good Clubman, been around for many years and will be for many to come.

Damien Dodds (Doddsy/Turkey)

22 year old left back. Joined the club in 03/04.

Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season.

Another versatile defender who has developed well in the 4 years at the club. Great left foot and still developing.

Ryan Dodds (Ryzee)

20 year old centre midfielder. Joined the club in 05/06.

Won Divison 5 with the reserves in the 05/06 season and the Nairne Paul Cup last season. Also played for the first team and helped the team win the War Memorial Cup and Division 2.

Tough tackling midfield player with a winners mentality. He will develop into a good centre midfield player. Born leader.

Andrew Drummond (Andy)

21 year old midfeilder/striker. Joined the club this season.

Has previously played for Cumnor.

Jonathan Dunbar (JD/Dunners/Dunbar/Didier)

22 year old converted central defender. Joined the club in 04/05.

Won Divison 5 with the reserves in the 05/06 season and the Nairne Paul Cup last season..

Tall player, has switched from forward to defender very well. Will be a strong defender for years to come.

Johnathan Fisher (Jony)

22 year old striker/right winger. Joined the club lastseason and played previously for Radley.

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Second season with the club. Good eye for goal, works hard at his game. Another player who will improve as he gains experience.

James Hall (Sem/The Cat)

23 year old. Versitile player who has played in all positions for the club, including goalkeeper.

Joined the club in 2000.

Won Divison 5 with the reserves in the 05/06 season and the Nairne Paul Cup last season..

James is very reliable and does a good job in every position he is asked to play.

Andrew Hallett (Rolly)

19 Year old goalkeeper. First joined the club in 2003 and has played since then apart from one season with East Hendred.

Good all ROUND individual. Great shot stopper and a good clubman.

Warren Ireson (Woz)

38 year old centre half who joined the club in 1997. Previously played for Compton.

Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season. Won Divison 4 99/00 with the Club.

Solid centre half who works hard at his game and fitness. Guy with a great attitude. Also Club Secretary.

James Ivey (Ivey)

20 year old midfeilder who joined the club this season. Previously played for Kennington.

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Mark Loveridge (Lovers)

21 year old forward who joined the club in 2004.

Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season. Was top goal scorer in 2005 and club man of the year in 2005.

Fastest man in the club. No-one has a higher work rate. Has also scored his fair share of goals. A lad with a great attitude.

Russel Mills (Russ)

34 year old defender. Joined the club this season. Previously played for Queen KeepFC and BPFC in the Hampshire League.

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Second season with the club and has proved to be a very good asset.

Josh Nicholls (Nicholls)

17 year old left midfielder. Joined the club last season.

Won the Nairne Paul Cup with the Reserves last season. Also played for the first team and helped the team win the War Memorial Cup and Division 2.

A bright up and coming prospect. Brilliant touch and left footed too. Will improve and become a real quality player.

Sam Nicholls (Nicholls)

21 year old centre midfielder who joined the club in the 05/06 season.

Won Division 5 with the Reserves in 05/06 season. Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

I invited Sam to play for the club after watching him play in youth football. Skilful midfielder who works hard in the game and in training. He will improve with experience.

Phil Padbury (Padders)

41 year old goalkeeper. Joined 05/06.

Previous clubs are Saxton Rovers, Milton United, Abingdon United and Wantage Town.

Has won Berks & Bucks Senior Trophy, Hellenic Division 1, Hellenic Reserve League, Hellenic Reserve Cup, North Berks Cup, Charity Shield, A.G. Kingham Cup. Also has won North Berks Division 1,2,3 and 5.

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Experiencedasset for the club. Not only is Phil a player but also a goalkeeping coach. Hopefully he will play on a more regular basis next season.

Ben Pethick (Peth)

17 year old left midfielder or full back.

Won the Nairne Paul Cup with the Reserves last season. Also played for the first team and helped the team win the War Memorial Cup and Division 2.

Despite his smaller stature never found wanting in a tackle and he can play!!

28 year old centre forward. Joined Wootton in the 96-97 season. Previously played for Oxford City and Radley.

Has won Divisions 2,3,4 and 5 and the War Memorial Cup with the club. Has been Player of the Year twice and top goalscorer six times, including last season.

Prolific goalscorer. Hard working centre forward with a great attitude.

Phil Rose (Rosey)

30 year old goalkeeper. Joined the club in 1991 and has previously played at Wantage Town.

Has been first and reserve team player of the year and Clubman of the year with the club. Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season.

Player of the year in my first year as Manager. Loyal. reliable and sound clubman.

Kevin Shorter (Kev)

40 year old Joint Reserve Team Manager. Started playing for the club in 1985 and has been involved in some form ever since.

Runner up in two war memorial cup finals.

Claims he was a good centre half in his day (unfortunaetly his day wasn't Saturday).

John Srawley (Heed 1)

25 year old defender who joined the club last season. Has played for Wantage Town and Milton United.

Won Hellenic Reserves Division 1 and 2 with Wantage. Was Captain of the Reserves. Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season.

Versatile defender with a great attitude. Always gives 100% on and off the field. He is Mr. Reliable.

Tom Srawley (Heed 2)

21 year old centre midfielder who joined the club last season. Previous clubs were Oxford United (YTS), Wantage and Letcombe. Also played for the Under 18 Berks and Bucks County football team.

Won Hellenic Reserves Division 1 and 2 with Wantage Town. Was part of the team which won Division 2 and the War Memorial Cup last season.

Probably one of the two most skilful players in the Club. Despite his University commitments gives the Club 100%. What he can do with the ball most players can only dream of.

James Studds (Studdsy)

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Danny Sumner

18 year old midfielder who joined the club this season.

Currently also plays for Abingdon Youth team.

Was part of the team which won the Nairne Paul Cup last season.

Pacy young player who always makes good decisions. Is a good asset to the club now and will be in the future.

Mark Viner (Spark)

Won the Nairne Paul Cup with the Reserves last season. Also played for the first team and helped the team win the War Memorial Cup and Division 2.

Ricky Viner

52 year old First Team Manager who joined the club in the 04/05 season. Previously played for Abingdon United, Wantage Town, Osberton Radiators and Worcester College. Before joining Wootton also managed Abingdon United Reserves.

As a player won Senior League three times, President Cup three times and the Charity Cup. As a manager won the Reserve League with Abingon United and the Reserve Section Cup three times. Won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season.

The game is about players not Managers!!

Jonathan Weir (Weirdo)

21 year old winger. Joined in 04/05.

Played for Oxfordshire Under 18's. Was part of the team which won Divisions 2 & 3 in the last two seasons and the War Memorial Cup last season.

Self-appointed spokesman for the players. Never found wanting for the odd word during a game! Great asset for the club and a great player.

Anthony Wise (Wisey/Wiser)

32 Year old defender/winger. Joined the club in 2005.

Was a part of the side that won the Division 2 in the 05/06 season.
Wisey missed the whole if last saeson through injury. However he is now back to fitness and will be a valuable member of the squad.

His previous clubs include: Abingdon United, Abingdon Town, North Leigh and Milton United.

Damien Whiskin (Whiskers)

23 year old defender. Joined in 2002.

Won Divison 5 with the reserves in the 05/06 season and the Nairne Paul Cup last season..

Has always been a strong part of the defence. Knows when to play with the ball and also when to clear it.
